Columbus Bar Foundation Announces New Board

Columbus Bar Foundation President Frank Ray reported that the trustees elected the following officers for 2010-2011: Fordham Huffman, President; Heather Sowald, Vice President; and David Alexander, Secretary/Treasurer.

Foundation Fellows nominated to be Trustees are Belinda Barnes, Michael Carpenter, and Judge Guy Reece. In addition David Alexander, Paul Giorgianni, Judge Carrie Glaeden and Heather Sowald were nominated for another three-year term. They will serve with Foundation Trustees: James Arnold, Stephen Buchenroth, James Davidson, Thomas Hill, Robert Meyer, Robert Palmer, Stanley Ross, Robert Weiler, and Jay Yano. Bradley Wrightsel will be the Columbus Bar Liaison; Sharon Chappelear, Columbus Bar Alliance Liaison; Michael Mahoney, Counsel; Benjamin Zox, Director of Development; Jill Snitcher McQuain, Columbus Bar Staff Liaison and Marion Smithberger, Executive Director.

The officers and new trustees will be sworn in by Judge Robert Duncan at the Columbus Bar Foundation Annual Meeting on June 9, 4:30-6:30. All Foundation Fellows and their guests are welcome. RSVP to marion@cbalaw.org.
